This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing CheGuide on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

CheGuide is a unique virtual guide application that offers you the opportunity to go on a tour around the city of Chernihiv at any time.

Having CheGuide installed on your smartphone, you will be able to find historical monuments of Chernihiv on the map, view information about them and photos. A special feature of this app is a player in which you can listen to historical information about each of the sights. Stop and Start buttons let you pause the recording if you want to discuss something with friends or simply have rest. Then you can continue listening to the audio from the place where you stopped.

Many sights in Chernihiv have a QR-code, located near them. You can scan them, using the built-in QR-scanner, and get access to additional information on these places and discover more details about them. Flash, which can be turned on right in the app, allows using this function even when it's dark.

Install the virtual guide app CheGuide and go on an excursion around Chernihiv — a virtual guide will tell you much interesting about its historical sights!
