About this app

পুরাকালে ব্রহ্মার মন থেকে তার এক মানস কন্যার জন্ম হয় । উনি নিজেকে ত্রিধা ভাগে বিভক্ত করেন এবং সকালে তা গায়ত্রী দুপুরে সাবিত্রী এবং সন্ধ্যায় তা সরস্বতী রুপে প্রকাশমান হয় । বহুযুগ আগে মন্দেহ নামক মহাশক্তিশালী রাক্ষস এর নেতৃত্বে ত্রিশ কোটি রাক্ষস মিলিত হয়ে সূর্য্যের সংহারার্থে একত্রিত হয়েছিল । তখন ঋষিরা জলাঞ্জলি গ্রহন পুর্ব্বক ব্রহ্মা কন্যা সন্ধ্যা্র উপাসনা করে এবং ঐ জল দ্বারা রাক্ষসগনের বিনাশ সাধন করেন । তখন থেকেই সন্ধ্যা উপাসনা শুরু হয় । দ্বিজাতি অর্থাৎ ব্রাহ্মন ক্ষত্রিয় ও বৈশ্য গন অবশ্যই সন্ধ্যার উপাসনা করবে । কলিতে ক্ষত্রিয় ও বৈশ্য নেয় শুধুমাত্র ব্রাহ্মন এবং শূ্দ্র আছে । শূদ্রগণ তান্ত্রিক সন্ধ্যা করবেন এবং ব্রাহ্মন গন বৈদিক ও তান্ত্রিক উভয় সন্ধ্যায় করবেন । সন্ধ্যাবিহীন ব্রাহ্মণ কৃষ্ণেবিমুখ এবং বিষহীন সর্পের ন্যায় । সন্ধ্যা না করলে বিষ্ণু ভজন অসম্ভব । সন্ধ্যার সময় : সূ্র্যদোয়ের ১৫ মিনিট আগে বা পরে : মধ্যাহ্ণে সূর্য যখন মধ্যগগনে থাকে : গোধূলী লগ্নের ১৫ মিনিট আগে বা পরে । শূদ্রগণ গুরু পন্থায় এবং ব্রাহ্মনণগণ নিজ বেদ অনুসারে বৈ্দিক সন্ধ্যা ও গুরুর দেখানো নিয়মানুযায়ী তান্ত্রিক সন্ধ্যা করবেন । সন্ধ্যার সময় উর্ত্তীর্ণ হলে ব্রাহ্মন গন বৈদিক ও তান্ত্রিক গায়ত্রী এবং শূদ্রগণ নিজ দেবতার গায়ত্রী জপ করবেন।
