Works great for me, but I did cheat it a little to make it more comfortable, using Quickball for all the tools that I might need occasionally while in rush (like calculator, notes etc). Yet, I really like it, beacuse my phone is much cleaner now and I don't get lost in all these hoards of apps that I would sometimes use once a month. Only necesary things. Also, UI is very simple and pleasant, which is just what I need, but I wouldn't mind some customization for clock appearance. Thank you!

Don't waste your time with reading other comments, just try it. That's the best.// I think you can add these features: 1- You can adjust a ring to clock and the ring of the clock according to the remaining battery. 50% charge = a half circle, like this or upper right icon we can see our battery directly. 2- Selecting another apps for calendar and alarm. I'm not using my phone's default alarm app and I couldn't change it. I added my alarm app to the home screen. 3- Support to another languages.

Great app but please add option to lock the customize apps button.Hope you consider this suggestion,as you know that most of the people download this app for eliminating distractions .If you could put password to customize apps one could get it locked by someone and thus done forever with distracting apps. It would be good if this feature get built in instead of installing a seperate app locker.

So far I love it. My phone sucks in my attention too much. I love that this app completely strips away the visual stimulation of the homescreen. And the absense of a traditional app drawer is a Godsend. It makes finding distracting apps a little more tedious which is a good thing. Now I open my phone and have a second to think about why I'm using it rather than being ambushed by vivid colors and icons screaming at me.

Edit: there have been several updates since this review that have improved things. Nice and simple. Though I don't feel I could use as my main launcher. There isn't an app drawer. If I wanted to use an app that's not in the list I chose, I have to switch launchers. It is currently a nice side project for the developer, but if you'd like full time use for this launcher it needs some sort of app drawer. I'm hopeful that will be in soon. Edit: uninstalled due to lack of updates for several months.

Works great! Quite helpful when I sit down to to homework. The only thing it is missing is a link to the launcher settings. I want to use this app only while I am working on homework, so I would like to be it easier to switch back to my default launcher.

About this app

Slim launcher only allows you to use fewer apps on your phone. Giving you more time to enjoy life as it was intended. Also a perfect app for a minimalist lifestyle.

All you need is less.

But this launcher comes with a twist
#1 No wallpapers: Of course Slim comes with a few color themes but that's it. (This is a good thing, trust me)

#2 Slim only allows you to use 5 apps on your mobile. Of course, you can switch and choose the ones you want but cheating slim by always replacing your choices becomes annoying.

#3 No app icons on the home screen. You make your pick to the apps you need the most and they will be displayed by the name on the home screen.

This gives you a pretty simple theme with no sudden distractions.

Don't be afraid to try it out! It's best for minimalists, students who want a strict routine or just about anyone who wants a cleaner, less cluttered home screen.
