About this app

Predeal CityApp is an application aimed at both tourists and locals, administered by the Cityhall of the city. The app promotes the Predeal city area, Brasov county, Romania.

The app offers detailed information on most attractive POIs and events in the area, as well as on existing local services (hotels, guest houses, restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets) or local news (city hall press reports).

The content is updated real-time and is continuously subject to improving in order to provide accurate and relevant info.

The current version of the Predeal CityApp contains the following themes:
- Accommodation: places in Predeal city that offer accommodation to tourists (hotels, guest houses, etc);
- Culture & Leisure: places in and around Predeal that offer cultural and leisure activities (mountain tracks with their starting point in Predeal included in the Sport section, historical buildings, monuments, parks);
- Tourist Atractions: monuments, churches, nature reserves, parks;
- Food & Drink: places in Predeal that serve food and drinks;
- Shopping: the shops that are grouped by type;
- Press Report: news that can be found on the City Hall website;
- Tourist Info: official tourist info points and offices where a tourist can get information on what to see and to do in and around the city of Predeal ;
- Citizen services: the cityhall, educational institutions .

All POIs contain relevant information (photos, text, address, telephone and cell phone number with the possibility to call using the call function of the device, email address with the possibility to send a message using the email function of the device, website, opening hours, location of the POIs shown on Google maps, routing options)

Alphabetical and by distance sorting options are implemented. Also, various filtering options are available, according to the type of POIs.

Language switch is available (Romanian, English) directly from the application.
