This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing My Gear My Style Companion on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

After 2 days of trying to get it to work I have identified the problem. The app doesn't work when you upload a 16:9 image. The image needs to be squared or just smaller in general.

OMG OMG OMG OMG...who are the Geniuses who came up with this app...its not only super cool but so easy to use...installed-> get image-> voila. A beautiful design. Want a small change...choose your crop and done. Kudos to you guys. Looks beautiful on my Gear3. Wonder if a variant can be setup for my Galaxy S8...hmmm would be great. Thank you.

I love the idea of this app, and it was great until about two days ago when it stopped letting me change my watch face. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the gear app and I the I need to do it with this one, which will cause me to loose the watch faces that I've made. But it's worth it if I can get it working again.

The concept of this app is good but the problem I'm having is that there must be a resolution limitation. When I try to load a photo I've taken from Google photos the app crashes with no recovery. If I download and use a photo from the internet at low dpi the app works fine. Please try and fix this issue as like I said before the concept is good but the execution is still not there yet.

About this app

IMPORTANT : This is a companion app. You need to SEPARATELY download 'My Gear My Style' watch app using Samsung Gear-Manager App or Samsung Galaxy App-Store after pairing your phone with the watch. This app only works with Samsung GearS2 and GearS3 smart-watches.

My Gear My Style is a highly customizable and adaptive GearS2/S3 watch face. All you need to do is take a selfie or choose an image from phone gallery and the watch instantly adapts to the vibrant color contrasts of the image. It recognizes primary and secondary color contrasts and creates a watch face that perfectly suits your style, making it truly personalized watch face. It can even be further customized to pick a pattern from the image and incorporate that in your watch. You can choose from custom templates like rotating internal gears etc or pick any color from the image and experiment lot many things to create that perfect look of your Samsung GearS2/S3. You can even set the display to be ON for a specified amount of time to flaunt that perfect look. You could create a button on your watch face which can directly launch the camera on your phone avoiding the need to dig into the app to create a new watch face style. Experiment all these options and create a truly personalized watch-face everyday.

You need to install gear manager and connect any variant of Samsung GearS2/S3 watch to use this application.
