Unable to connect at all any more. What the hell? How is this even possible. I used to be able to copy images from the camera via Bluetooth (wifi never worked), but I can't even do that anymore. Do you not have budget to fix the bugs? Why release the app at all? If you can't support the application, do not advertise the connectivity, and do not release the app at all. Just have people copy images the old way. Very disappointing. $900 is not cheap for GRIII, you should do better by People Ricoh..

Just downloaded this app and opened it to connect to my K1 (with the latest firmware). After turning on WiFi on the K1 and selecting the WiFi generated by the K1 on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 it immediatly connected. After reading all the negative reviews I was tempted to scroll on by, happy I didn't.

After the latest update the app is extremely stable, and is a complete tool to control every single feature in Ricoh & Pentax cameras, fantastic app, easy to use while shooting landscape, street photography and more.

It was working pretty well with the GRIII. But when I connect to another camera it forgets my GRIII login. I put this info in once, but now it's always asking for it when I try to connect.

Works well connecting to my GRiii most of the time over WiFi. However the remote control does not work at all. I asked Ricoh support about this and they didn't help, they just sent a user instructions, which didn't work!! If this feature doesn't work for the GRiii then just say so!! Or fix the app if it does work!! Figured out after changing to single frame in the drive mode settings in manual mode, the remote view in this app works.
