Recently used the Revel taxi app and it was a delightful experience. The cars were impeccably clean and aesthetically pleasing. They arrived right on time and the drivers were incredibly friendly. What stood out the most were their honest and competitive prices. Without a doubt, Revel has offered me the best taxi service experience of the year. Highly recommend!

Only give this 2 stars, because the cars are Tesla and clean. Drives are professional. However, be ready to wait for 25mins for a ride, because there not enough Revel cars in NYC. Also, Revel has very very poor GPS service. It keeps picking the busiest routes for the drivers, even there are no traffic in alternate routes. Be ready to walk 1 block for some of the pickup/dropoff locations. Can be a problem on rainy & winter season. This can be frustrating

I realize this is a brand new app, but it still needs work. I have a Samsung Galaxy A (android version 11) and it's a mess on it: refuses to initiate if I don't have GPS turned on (you shouldn't need GPS to check payments or input codes!); you can't rate drivers (it just keeps giving you the same review screen over and over after submitting); frequently crashes. The service is fine, the app is not.

I got a 40% of offer email today. But the app is so bad that it was just impossible to use. The search doesn't work at all. If nobody is taking rides with you guys you need to look at your tech.. it is utterly terrible. Usually pickups are in completely the wrong place and require walking at least a block which is why I haven't used it in a while. Still seems just as bad.

Each app "upgrade" is buggier than the last. I enjoyed the service, but the app issues have made the overall experience unreliable & frustrating. The app regularly has "connectivity" issues requiring me to restart it or restart my PHONE to activate a reserved ride. But then, the reserved ride may no longer appear reserved or even available. Next wait on hold for 5 minutes for phone support. I'm trying to go to work or home. I'm a regular user, but that may change.

App reports false info. I walked for blocks and it said that there are two mopeds there and there wasn't even one. Very disturbing and unreliable. The the location is not accurate, the ring option doesn't work, and when I find a revel right in front of me there's no way to activate that specific one. I just walked six blocks in the summer heat only to find one with a flat tire.
