Life/ nephrology campus is a medical-scientific educational program chaired by Prof. Dr. Christoph Wanner, University Hospital Würzburg, Germany, and Prof. Dr. Peter Stenvinkel, Karolinska Institutet Stockholm, Sweden, and is empowered by Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH.
Providing a platform for international scientific exchange together with the world’s leading nephrologists, Life/ nephrology campus is dedicated to shaping the future of personalized patient care. The Life/ nephrology campus includes a series of 18 webinars, started on September 15, 2020 that led to the Life/2021 nephrology congress, which took place from September 15 – 18, 2021.
The Life/2021 nephrology congress has the motto “The future of kidney disease – a joint call for personalized patient care.” With an innovative combination of quick-fire lectures, debates, and case-based presentations the congress delivered up-to-date information from leading clinicians and researchers that can be integrated directly into clinical practice. Participants from more than 100 countries participated and eminent national and international speakers shared their knowledge.
The unique program of the Life/2021 nephrology webinar series includes topics such as optimizing anemia management, improving cardiovascular health, and ensuring patient transition to the right therapy at the right time.
Life/ nephrology campus continuously enlarges its repertoire with new updates on current trends in local and international nephrology.
