Switched to this app after PepperPlate started charging. I wish I had just started with this one - it's SO much better! It has pretty much the same features as PP but the user interface is more attractive and intuitive. AND you can import from just about any web page that has a recipe, unlike PP which limits you to a few specific sites. One piece of advice for new users that I missed out on: make sure that you use the Import feature BEFORE you delete your PP account. Import is found under Settings > Import Recipe Data. Even though the app is free, don't forget to support the developer if you can and are comfortable doing so!

I am in the process of manually moving over 600 recipes from My CookBook- I cannot figure out how to import to RecipeSage. It is a timely process, but definitely worth it. My husband and I have only been using RecipeSage for a day, but we are both totally in awe! It has every thing that I was looking for and is available across multiple devices.

Nice enough app, but very annoying that I have to log in every single time I open it. It's a phone app - it shouldn't forget me this quickly. Edit: Yes, it's sometimes about two weeks between opening the app, which I guess is the issue, but I don't consider my recipes in need very high security. An option to stay logged in perpetually would be appreciated. This is one of only a few apps I have that behave this way - the others being tied to finances (in which being logged in permanently is obviously a security risk).

Loved it. It is very easy to use, simple and elegant. The dark colors is so pretty. I don't like bright colors on my phone, as it makes my eyes tired. I needed an app not only for recipes but also to keep track of homemade remedies and beauty tips. This app does just that. I love that there is no annoying ads. I can't afford monthly subscription. But this awesome app is free. As soon as I am able to, I will make a donation. Wonderful job developer. Thank you.

Edit: after using this app for a few months, my only complaint is that recipes close every time I switch away from the app. So if I'm cooking and my phone goes to sleep, I have to search for the recipe in the app again. I feel like the recipe you're viewing should stay open even if the phone goes to sleep or you switch apps. It's the only issue I've had with the app, but it's annoying enough to bump down to 4 stars.

I've been looking for something like this for quite some time now and after finding it randomly, I've decided to give it a try and I'm soo happy I did because it's this is exactly what I needed... Nothing overly complicated, has everything one might need to add and create recipes. All I can say is great job on creating this app and that I will most likely be recommending it to any friends who might be looking for such things.
