Download function does not work. Consistent download errors that are not a result of my internet connection or otherwise. UPDATE: Do not believe the comment by the app producer that asks you to retry. I just reinstalled and retried, and it's still broken. This app does not work. Do not waste your time.

New version broke the map display for some devices, like my Nexus 7. Email to developer went unanswered. Unfortunate, It was a good app, would rate 5/5 if it still worked.

Blank map even though other compass and gps apps work fine , 2 stars because it is free. Response to reply: the map was blank WHILE I was online, if I tried to download, I would download a blank map.

been searching for this type of app. finding topo maps that are accurate and high res is really difficult. I have a stack of paper maps, but the ability to look at maps on my phone at work to plan my weekends is extremely valuable. Google maps doesn't cut it, avenza has storage issues. this has been the best I found. that being said. if your going into the back country, have a map and compass. phone battery die, knowledge of knowing how to use a map and compass can be life saving. I'm serious
