This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Nurofen FeverSmart on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

It disconnects as soon as you come off the app or screen turns off. I tried going through all the settings to see it there was something I could change, I changed settings and set it so the app never sleeps etc but didnt help. I contacted them for help, but didn't get any help at all. The only thing I can see is that it says to make sure that location is active for it to work, but it only allows you to give permission for location to he active whilst using the app. Not in the background .

This app has the ability to be awesome. It has a few things that needs to be addressed. The compatibility list is very short and is not compatible with newer models of android, you can still use it with newer phones/tablets but it will loose connection after a few minutes once the app is off the main screen or screenis locked. Also feel like the app should alert you then temperature changes to normal/medium temperature and not just high temperature.

Brought this in anticipation of a fever after 1 year jabs but when I tried it out the app was awful it kept disconnecting and the only way to reset it is by taking the stuck on device off your child which when they are asleep isnt possible so a complete waste of money in my opinion and really disappointing as an anxious first time mum looking for reassurance

My app was working fine now is askimg for update but there is no update and it is not connecting anymore. It is useless. Just bought 1 month ago.

It keeps prompting me to update to a version that's older than the current version I'm running. Quite annoying.

The Nurofen for Children FeverSmart™ Temperature Monitor is a new baby thermometer to monitor your child’s temperature. The monitor accurately tracks their temperature and sends it to the FeverSmart™ App every 60 seconds for real-time readings. Thanks to the Bluetooth connectivity, you can read the information on your Smartphone and feel in control without interrupting their sleep. The App contains built-in features to help you take care of your child: you can receive notifications when the temperature spikes, track the medication you provide, keep a record of other symptoms your child is showing or monitor several children with the same App. You can also keep track of the history of the episodes to share with your healthcare professional at a later stage.
