Difficult to determine whether all the functionality is there before having to spend the money for the pro.

First the Max speed wasn't accurate at all, I was doing 230Km/hr on my other sat device and race chrono marked 144km/h as Max speed. Due to this I tried uninstalling and re installing the app and now the app doesn't stop after each time I cross the finis line to recor the time, just keeps going and it tracks a whole 20 min session as one lap, this never happened before, the only issue was the Max speed, I have a Samsung S10+

Best mobile app for lap timing! The only one that is capable of reading the CAN bus (which is so much faster than OBD-II) and even supports DIY sensors. The developer is very responsive on the RaceChrono forum and regularly makes great improvements to the app. The app needs some getting used to in the beginning, but it's totally worth it!

Awesome app! Used this for the first time at Lime Rock Park in CT on 18-Sep-2018. Super easy to use - just press the big Start button, it prompts you for the track and then it selected Lime Rock by itself since I was there. And that's it. After each track session you stop it, and review the results. Lap times, min/avg/max mph, etc. Confirmed the times against GoPro video and it's spot on. Love it!
