Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Quicktrack on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

Quicktrack is a very simple and easy to use app that enables the user to send tracking invitations via SMS or Email. Additionally, the invitation expires after a pre-selected time meaning that the user is in control of how long the tracking session lasts. The receiver of the invitation is presented with a link that will display your current location on a map which also includes a nearby address. Your location is updated every 60 seconds until the session expires. After which, all data related to the tracking session is forever deleted from the server.

Quicktrack can be used to help people find you if you are lost or help people find you if they are lost. Quicktrack can also be used for delivery drivers to help customers track incoming deliveries in case packages need to be signed for.
Quicktrack has many uses that help people find there way to each other or hard to find places.

The map can be zoomed which helps locate the user in buildings or large open spaces and includes an approximate address or street location to help when using GPS mapping and direction apps.

The Quicktrack app requires no login credentials or subscription to use. Quicktrack is advertising supported with a small unobtrusive banner at the bottom.
