This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Faxi - Incentivised Carpooling on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

It seems like a great app as I've easily been able to find colleagues along my normal route and it gives me a suggested price if people only want to be passengers. However once a carpool is set up it's really difficult to adjust such as deleting days when already know other person can't car pool. Or change to who is driver/passenger. Also it keeps telling me I'm missing settings but 1 of those settings is having information coming from 3rd parties which I don't want.

The new version of the app shows great improvements in the exact points needed! It's much faster and connecting with passengers is instantaneous and simple.

App is too complicated. It is constantly recording my journey even when I have arrived at work and way before I even start out to work. Uses way too much battery

Tried to sign up, but it asked for a badge number. Typed in my number but it said not of the right format - but didn't say what the format was. Looked at the FAQ offered by Milton Park, but it didn't mention anything. Uninstalled.

Intrusive, battery draining, no shift worker options and a faff for the incentive to walk a few minutes less. Will give it a chance for a while but can see it being deleted.
