Update: The app doesn't connect to my blender most of the time. kindly improve the bluetooth connectivity It is a good app but it needs to be updated. Sometimes it takes a while for the phone to connect to the blender . Also if u guys could make an app with the presets for ascent series for samsung watch that'd be great and even more convenient

Worthless! The app is so flaky, you never know if it will recognize the scale or the container. Every other click it finds another excuse not to run. Adding recipes is a major pia. Major! This is probable the least intuitive app ever designed. At 1st. I thought this is a new app and it deserves a chance. But no, this garbage app has been around for years and it is still pos. Shame on the developers and the company that released this junk app. Delete!

Every online review gives glowing praise about expanding the capabilities of your ascent Vitamix blender through the app. The app refuses to connect or even acknowledge the existence of my blender and claims the ascent series doesn't have Bluetooth (I can look for Bluetooth device through the Android nfc/pan manager and easily find "Vitamix 1.4"). Since Vitamix lauds, loudly and proudly, wireless connectivity to update your device - please fix this immediately.

Aug 2020: This is an update. Switching to a new tablet with Android 9 (recently upgraded to Android 10) and the latest Bluetooth, both my Scale and Ascent blender work really well with the app. The Pantry feature also works. I'd say the app will be flaky unless you have a newer phone or tablet running Android 9 or 10.

The only thing I had a problem with it was my bluetooth light keeps on flashing so it's not supposed to flash when my scale is on so I return my scale to Amazon and they're sending me a new one hopefully this works very sensitive scale very touchy which is good very accurate thank God for the brains of the operation with Vitamix company

Just got the scale today. It was awesome! .... For about 5 ingredients. Then it stopped working and I had to print off the recipe from the web and go from there. I want this SO much! (Working.) This didn't work. I'll try again and update if it changes.
