First let me begin by saying that I love the PureFlix videos for our family. This review is exclusively directed at this Android app version 5. The new interface is extremely unfriendly. It's much more difficult to get to the favorites and recently played. But the worst change is the on-screen controls. It is no longer possible to skip forward by using your remote (which was available in v4). Instead, you have to use the fast forward button. Skipping to the middle of a video to pick up where I left off used to take a few button presses. Now when using even the fastest forward button, it takes minutes. Very painful. I wish they would change it all back to the version 4 of this app where it was so much better. I rolled back to version 4 on my Android box but the company has disabled logging into this version. Now I'm left to use the new version and it's so awful that I'm ready to stop using PureFlix. I hope the developers are listening!!!
