Premier Irish Golf Tours was set up by John and David McMahon (father and son). Both David and John are keen golfers with vast experience of golf in Ireland, and Irish tours in general.
David resides in Ireland for 12 months of the year, while John resides on Cape Cod, MA, U.S.A. We feel this is what gives us an edge over our competitors as our clients can do their bookings through our United States base + U.S phone number.
If clients wish they can call our U.S. office on Cape Cod and discuss their trip directly with John. Additionally, you will have direct contact with a member of our team at all times on both sides of the Atlantic.
From the minute you make your first inquiry, we will do all the hard work so you can enjoy every minute of your trip. We have a package to meet everyone’s budget.
David McMahon is a scratch golfer who competes all over Ireland and the U.K. David also spent a few summers caddying which gave him a unique insight. David’s life is golf and social interaction which makes him the ideal guide for your trip. David is currently a member of Tralee Golf Club, and was previously a member in Ardfert, Killorglin and Killarney Golf Clubs. David will be on hand at all times during your trip making sure that your satisfaction is guaranteed.
John McMahon was born in Ireland and lived there until he was 30. While in Ireland, John worked as a greens keeper for a number of years, and worked as a manager in 3 hotels.
John has resided in the states for the last 27 years and is currently The Managing Director of Avariant Technology and Premier Irish Golf Tours. John is a current member of the Dennis Pines and the Dennis Highlands golf clubs on Cape Cod.
