We know that it's YOUR choice what you put into your body, particularly when you are pregnant because a lot of it goes directly to your baby! Big food companies won't take responsibility for protecting your growing baby. That's why we've aimed to make the simplest tool to help you choose the ingredients you would rather not have in your foods.

Pregnancy Food Scanner gives you access to ingredient information without reading the labels. Even better, it automatically highlights ingredients that you have indicated you don't want in your foods, and it can tell you if the product is one that you – or your partner – have already decided as safe or unsafe.

This app is a tool and informational guide, and does not provide medical advice. While it can't replace medical advice from your doctor or nutritionist, it can help you to quickly assess which foods meet your needs and help you follow advice from your doctor. We have researched common advice from prenatal doctors and nutritionists, and provide suggestions (with references) for ingredients that many sources suggest avoiding during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
