I use this app for tracking where I've been. It's very useful and cool. Easy to use, intuitive. I haven't tried the more advanced features but based on how well the app works overall, I would expect them to work very well. I took one star off after my last trip because of the app's tendency to go to sleep for hours, leaving long straight lines that don't capture the detail of an otherwise complex route, which is unfortunate.

I am using PolarSteps for the first time and am loving it. I don't have data on this trip and the app still is able to identify where I've been. There's so much this app does. I've been sharing it with other travelers as well. Some things I would like the developers to consider moving forward. Ability to: *add contributors so all on trip can participate *add captions to pictures *rearrange actual steps We are still traveling, so I will have to come back to review the photo book. ❤️ this app

I love this app, not only to share my travels with family and friends but also to look back myself! I would love it if pictures could be placed on maps automatically (from the photo meta data) - strava has been doing that for years! I'd really like to add past trips, especially backpacking trips, for which I didn't have my phone on, but it's too much work to do it manually.

I used Polarsteps during our trip to Alaska. I liked how it tracked out travels even when we were offline and added weather and coordinates automatically. It took some time to figure out how to correctly add location and time of arrival, but after a week I got it. We also ordered their memory book, which came out great-nice thick pages, high quality. The only "negative" - there is no dot for map locations in Alaska and I couldn't resize any pictures - only preset arrangements in the memory book.

On the plus side, I have used it for my last two vacations. I love that it creates a map and that I can easily find and go to the photos and posts and links for each location I visit. The negative is that even very short uploaded videos take so long to load when a viewer clicks on them from the trip link, that viewers will skip right by them. Also often there's no sound. Whatever Polarsteps uses to deliver the uploaded content to viewers doesn't have the bandwidth necessary and is buffering.

i love this app! couple thoughts:. it would be great if you added a feature to drop a "waypoint". it's not actually a step that you document but it does you to more accurately Mark a path. the second option would be to make points on the journey moveable. sometimes the app puts a point thats not accurate. would love the oportunuty to move it.
