About this app

Tired of everyone in your family distracted by cell phones? Wish your family would spend quality time together instead of staring at phones? Smartphones are a powerful tool with lots of benefits, but they have become so addicting that we often spend more time on our phones than we should. Pocket Points for Families is a fun game that helps everyone in the family reduce their screen time.

Everyone in the family downloads the app and joins the family using your family invite code. Each day, everyone in the family has an opportunity to earn up to three points by completing daily challenges:

- Personal goal: Each family has a goal for total screen time for the day based on their average screen time. Stay under this goal and earn one point.
- Family goal: All of the family member's personal goals are added up for a combined daily family goal. Everyone in the family earns a point if the family stays under this goal.
- Driving goal: Earn a point each day if you do not use your phone while driving.

The best part of all is the rewards. Everyone in the family can add rewards that can be purchased using the points you earn. For example:

- The kids will do the dishes if the parents can earn 20 points
- Kids can skip one chore if they earn 10 points
- The family will go out for a special dinner if each person can earn 20 points

Get creative and add rewards that you know will motivate your family!
