The Plushcare doctors are great but the app and care coordinators leave a lot to be desired. The app is very buggy. Making an appointment is much easier on desktop. But you have to use the app for messaging. The messaging app does not allow for uploading pdfs...at least on Android it doesn't! Then when you send the care coordinators a shared pdf file from your personal Google Drive, they ask you to send a pdf file! The staff barely reads your messages and aren't tech savvy.

I have been having a few issues with the App for the first time today, but because the App has always worked great in the past I suspect the problem relates to a recent Android update. I still give the App 5 stars because the service I've received from the PlushCare team (including today with my App struggles) continues to be outstanding! My work schedule is very busy, and it is awesome to be able to get medical assistance 24/7 from a team that really seems to care.

Doctor and process was very well and thought out but I only have one problem with the app. I got a phone call midway through and it cut both of our audio out. My doctor told me that happens and frequently a problem with the app. I am technically fluent and fixed the problem but I could not imagine if I, or anyone else didn't know how to fix it. I think this can be fixed and mitigated in the future so I gave 4 stars.

User friendly app makes it easy to get started. Requests basic info on coverage as well as patient intake. Flexibility for convenient appointment times. Friendly and professional service with quality, caring physician. Provides private face-to- face consult. Best option for unanticipated late-night / weekend urgent medical needs. Wonderful overall experience.

I got a prescription refill for my antidepressants within 10 minutes of the appointment with my doctor. If you provide as much details as possible about your ailments/needs, then the appointment is quick and efficient. PlushCare is a bit more expensive than other telehealth platforms when it comes to appointments ($99 + membership fee) but it was one of the few that had doctors who could prescribe one of my antidepressants. So, it was worth it. I only wish that there wasn't a membership fee AND that appointments were more affordable (e.g., half the current price) even without the membership. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the one-month free trial.

It seems a stable app, but it needs work: it doesn't orient horizontally properly, like other video chat apps. It's also very unfortunate that email/text communication is only available through the app; I would prefer to use a proper keyboard and full screen for such personal and detailed communication, so a web interface is essential. Still, I was happy with the one appointment I had, and hopefully I won't get any nasty bills, as seems customary with US health 'insurance'.
