The ads take forever to load and run. So aggravating! Maybe if you can resolve this issue, I'll download this app again. Thanks, God Bless *I tried this app again, but nothing had changed in relation to the "slow loading of Ads issue". The shows that I'd watch, played with no problem. But when the show paused for the ads, that's when the problem started. On the average, the ads took around 10-15 minutes to run. An hour show took around 1hr 30min to play. Can you resolve this problem?

My previous review was mean. I think this is one of the greatest apps ever written and it deserves much better than 2.8 stars. Maybe some people have a tough time setting it up, but it's a pretty complex app so that's natural. It is so powerful and makes my media time a delight. I've got 5tb of movies, shows, music and audiobooks and I can access it on vacation, listen while I work out, give access to my homies

I enjoy my plex server for my media content and have used the app for years to connect. This last update has broken it to almost unusable. One time it will open after just a couple tries and the next it takes 10 or more tries. Click the icon to launch the app, plex fills the screen and then "shrinks" back down to the icon as if closed. But look at running and it's still running, just no screen. Hopefully an update to fix it back. I have tried uninstall and reinstall and also phone reboots.

Been testing out Plex recently and wanted to give the Plex pass a try on a trip. Paid for one month through the Play Store and the only Plex feature that works is that I can watch more than the 1 minute time limit on my phone. Can't download videos to my phone, and I can't watch more than one minute on any other mobile devices. It just keeps asking me to pay money. I was going to purchase the lifetime option, but I'm glad I didn't!

Changing review from the one that was from 2020... Since three updates ago the app ether attempts to open for a few seconds or on occasion when it stays open it randomly shuts itself or constantly resets to the apps home screen or pops up with a random error. I was hoping the last update would fix these issues but sadly no. And yes I have un-installed and re-installed a few times and it is not fixing any issues. Hopefully these things are fixed in the next update.

This app used to be excellent, back in the days before the Plex Pass. Now as Plex scrambles to get a cut of all this streaming revenue floating around, the app falls further and further into disrepair. Open the app? Nope - immediately closes. Open again. Closes. Open, close. Wait, no. Open four times. Search for a movie on my local server? Nuh uh, because the keyboard won't open. I'm switching to Jellyfin ASAP.
