This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pix-Star Photos on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

Doesn't do all it claims. A tab suggests that the app can send photos, videos and audio clips to a frame. All I can find to send are photos. No other options are available.

Terrible app, it is not user friendly and support is not much help!

A very un-intuitive interface. The pixstar app has three main features, share pictures to a linked account, view pictures on device, and view pictures on frame. You have to log into each "feature" individually and go all the way to the opening screen of the app to access a different core feature. I would return the frame if it wasn't a gift.

Using the "share by Pix-Star" doesn't work. It says the image was sent successfully to the frame but it never gets through

There is not much to this app. No fancy interface or custom menu options. As a result, it is very intuitive to use and works as expected. Takes 30-60 seconds to upload photos provided your phone and the frame have a good connection.
