This is simply amazing. I have been looking for something like this for years. The app is easy to set up, user-friendly and does exactly what it claims. The server makes pairing a breeze and saves precious time every time I need to take a clinical photo. I have used this app to send high quality images direct to my clinical record system, then forward them to specialists, use as part of the clinical record or even use to show patients parts of the body they cannot usually see (don't ask!) Recommended for all doctors in a hurry. compared with my old system (upload to dropbox, download from dropbox, copy to correct location, rename) this app almost saves the time it takes to set up every time I use it. I use it with galaxy S7 phone and the results are stunning. Highly recommended.

About this app

This app allows the medical professional to upload a photo from their phone of a patient’s case e.g. a mole, and transfer the image directly to the patient's file on their PC.

MedImage automatically transfers the patient image .jpg from your phone to the PC or company server within a few seconds. Simply label the image with the patient's ID to create a unique .jpg file. The image is kept on your own private network.

MedImage was created in consultation with a local New Zealand doctor, who explained that it would save time, energy and effort compared with other solutions.

You will need to download a companion server from http://medimage.co.nz to your PC, Mac or Windows/Linux Server.

Compatibility includes: Any medical system, but in particular MedTech and Profile-for-Mac have end-to-end Add-ons available, and myPractice has a How-To. Add-ons can be built by anyone.

New features

Improved handling of a failed connection to the server.
Switching over to new default servers.
