About this app

Lym Technologies Having worked for big corporations like Microcraft computers and transcending their turnovers from 15 lacs to 22 crores, Mr. Mayank Thakker a fierce and a lion-hearted businessman started LYM International in the year 1993.
The inaugural launch project for LYM was to market Internet with a massive launch of Internet Explorer manufactured by ET&T, a central government department. LYM became the sole marketing agent in India and initially launched it only in Mumbai & Maharashtra. This launch was done with the blessings of Internet Users Club of India, Mr.Shammi Kapoor, Mr.Vijay Mukhi, Mr. Miheer Mafatlal, Mr. Amithab Kumar – VSNL director etc.

Mr. Mayank Thakker became a potent force with lively demonstrations of Internet Explorer, in public places. The response was electric and was continuously published in newspapers about possibilities emerging from the Internet, how can it empower people and so forth. Soon Internet Explorer became every person’s need more than luxury and talk of the town after this event.

Subsequently, in October 1997, Lym Computers Pvt. Ltd was born.
Mr. Mayank Thakker then proceeded towards more exhibitions for Staff of Airport authority of India as well as Airport Authority families and increased awareness for Internet and its role in Education, Gaming etc. These events received an overwhelming response from media and soon Internet became a necessity more than a luxury.
In no time, clients like Airport Authority of India, Shapoorji Pallonji, Birla Electrical Ltd., Uttam Foods Ltd., Western Railways, Essel World (Pan India Paryatan Ltd.) were associated with Lym Computers.
Film stars like Mr. Anil Kapoor, Shilpa & Shamita Shetty got associated with Lym Computers and soon the company turnover exponentially grew from just 15 lacs in 1994 to almost 5 crores in 2005.
