If you know the Kal-Haven trail you know what an amazing rail trail it is. It's Michigan's 2nd Rail Trail and the first to host a trail Heritage Program and new for 2020, it's now a Pure Michigan(tm) trail. The Heritage program placed 32 informational panels along the 33.4 miles of trail explaining what was before the rail line was laid in 1869 and what happened during its operational life. With the app running, as you near a Heritage Panel it will alert you and then show you more information than can be fit on a panel. It's rich in southwest Michigan's history. If you're a history buff, it's worth a look.
