It works 1 out of 5 times. I can't figure out any common reason for why it does or doesn't. Very frustrating. Hey, let me show you my cool pool... hang on, wait, just give me a minute, well, maybe 5 or 10, but really, it's cool, oh well, here, let me just tell you about how cool it is... when the ap works. The "intelli" part of the word is very misleading. Unintellicenter is more like it, cause calling it Dumbcenter just doesn't have the ring to it

This app is worthless. I have 8 pentair pumps all variable speed with the exception of the booster pump. I have 2 filters, a heat pump and a propane heater. I had a larger than normal pool built with a waterfall and lazy river. I can't control both heaters....hell I can't control 1 heater because the app sucks so bad. If you try to change the pump speeds and don't wait a couple second, the screen will jump and you changed the settings on another pump. Totally sucks and they don't care.

This is almost enough reason to stay away from Pentair altogether. Four the price of one Pentair heater, they could develop a Android app that would be far superior to what they have. Maybe the iPhone experience is much better, but the Android app is very frustrating to use, and if heaven forbid your phone screen shut off, you must log out and log back in and wait for a 30-second timeout. This app looks up to Flappy Bird in terms of user experience

When the app actually works it is a 4 to 5 star but it seems to be down more often than not. Pretty useless if we can't even log on!

Great, simple user interface with lots of customizability. Lots of reviews talk about no connection, but the app does a fine job as long you have a solid WIFI OR 4G connection on your phone. Yes, the app will auto-disconnect in ~30 seconds. This is not a TV remote. If your outdoor control panel WIFI can't reach your router, then you either have a router problem or it was never set up right to start with. If Pentair servers are having issues, I'd imagine other pool vendors are having similar congestion. Overall, I don't expect connection perfection and I am quite happy with the controls. I think you will too.

App works fine if the server is up (which is more like flip the coin). Pentair should really spend some money they make from all these extremely overpriced equipments and build a solid backend platform.
