Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing My Passport America on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

App is not user friendly. Difficult to search. Discounts are great though!

After over 2 years full-time in the RV, I have found Passport America easily pays for itself as long as you read the 'notes' on each CG. That is where the CG puts their limits on PA. Some CGs have no limits, but those are rare. Also some CGs will not give a PA discount, even though they are on the app & in the book. Those folks will give a Good Sam or AARP discount, if pressed. I want all the geezer discounts! Life-time member of Passport America, and have used from NC to AZ!

First the good. We have saved $$ and paid for our entire year of PA on this one travel trip. Met some very nice folks with great parks. Now the frustrating bad...App has major bugs. Can never locate me even though location services are on. Kicks me out and I have to start the never ending scroll process all over again. Since not always do I know what town I'll be staying in, it would be nice to see the entire state and let me scroll to the area where I want to be that evening. Dallas Texas isn't on the map but there are places outside that area to choose from but strangers don't know surrounding cites.

listen to your users. You need to fix the location problem. The "fixes" you recommend don't fix the issues. The problem is with Android. Works fine on iphone but not on Android tablet. I know this must be difficult but trust you will find the problem and make the necessary updates to your app

Doesn't work with my Passport America membership, so I called them and they say it will never work with my Passport America membership. Apparently there are two passport Americas that both do the same thing, are related in some way, but need separate apps. So I'm stuck with the old app. Ridiculous.

no BS this is an excellent app to have we are looking forward to going to the Grand Canyon is Springtime and it route you it shows you where the campgrounds are passport Americans and others within 10 Mi 15-20 up to 50 miles off your route if you're looking for something nice this is the app to have
