Parkunload is a smart parking app to regulate, control and monitor time-limted and restricted parking zones to increase parking turnover and free up parking spaces in several smart zone types:

- Smart Loading or Delivery zones towards Sustainable City Logistics.
- Drop-off zones or short stay parking zones for deliveries.
- Food and Goods Pick-up zones to facilitate free-of-charge parking near local business or services.
- Only customers or employees parking zones.
- Priority parking spaces for Pharmacy o People with Reduced Mobility.
- Only truck parking. Short-term rest areas in highways.
- Short-term deliveries in pedestrian areas.
- Park & Ride facilities only for commuters.

Parkunload mobile app shows the currently allowed parking time for the selected vehicle in the zone printed on the vertical signs delimiting the parking area.

Parkunload automatically detects the nearest zone via Bluetooth, but the user can also enter the zone code printed on the sign or select it on the map.

When parking, it is mandatory to start a parking session and when leaving, the current parking session must be ended. The application clearly displays the remaining parking time and notifies when the maximum parking time expires.

The Parkunload solution shows the estimated parking availability in nearby areas, indicating the time limit for the selected vehicle in nearby zones and also provides navigation to these zones.
