Fails to keep session open during temporary absences of camera, like when the camera's Power Save LVF suspends it. This means that the app takes 20 to 30 seconds to establish a new session by which time the camera will have suspended itself again. All this appears to be down to Panasonic not Android since Panasonic has taken over the low level Bluetooth management and doesn't properly follow the Bluetooth LE 4 norms that keep everything ticking over.

This app is not that good given just how poor the bluetooth range is between the camera and the device. I've only used it with tablets, but out of the 4 i have used it with, only 1 can get anything close to a decent connection. The app is useful for videos if you don't want to keep going back to the camera every 20 minutes or so and you need to keep away from it in case you are filming wild life. The app allows for some adjustments, but is limited given what is on offer when using it handheld.

When it works it works well transferring images quickly, but does my head in on wifi , trying to initially connect , always takes 3-4 attempts , then occasionally drops out , so you have to start again Remote control is good if it worked reliably, having a 30* optical zoom in a compact I could use this so much more, when using a mini tripod. but can't because of the unreliability of the wifi connection, loosing the moment the shot should have been taken, I have a modern google pixel 3a xl ,

UI is not the best, the most basic task of copying files is very clumsy. The ability to copy all of today's files with one click is handy - but only if you can find it again. Selective copying? I give up. Nevertheless the app is very powerful and the remote control is utterly brilliant.

It takes upwards of 2-5 minutes to connect to the camera using this app. Then, if you're lucky enough to connect you will find that you can't transfer the movie files you shoot with the camera to the app. (File type not supported?) What's the point of this app? To frustrate and annoy.

This was a great app until recent updates changed it to a spy on you app. Why does it now need access to location in order to work? So it can collect data, plain & simple. Never used to be the case. I've used this app for a number of years & if I wanted a location on photos & videos I added that myself without Panasonic interference. Uninstall is the best & only option.😣😣😣
