great idea. the app works well enough, with the exveption of tracking your taxi. It would also be extremely helpful to have it stated somewhere that the app does not function/comunicate with dispatch on weekends. i waited over 20min for a cab ordered on the app on saturday before calling for an update, to be told that they dont use the app on weekends. this resulted in me having to wait an additional 20+ min. with my groceries for a cab to be assigned to me. so good idea but needs improvement.

Ohio Valley Cab is the suburban Ohio taxi dispatch service serving all suburbs and downtown. All rides must begin or end in a suburb. We offer low flat rates to and from downtown locations.

Our easy and secure online ordering through tablet and smartphone, or any computer, goes direct to dispatch so there is no delay in the order process. When you log in you can order your taxi immediately, or choose a later time or date and the order will remain in the dispatch system until it is completed.

You can retrieve your order on your mobile device to check for estimated time of arrival to your pick up location, change date, time or any other feature, or cancel your order.

You can add commonly used travel locations (which are already shortcuts) to make ordering faster and easier. Save the shortcut name, such as work, dentist, home, or favorite restaurant, and the name and address of the location in your permanent profile and you can scroll to that shortcut to quickly enter that location in your order.

Save all cell phone, office and home phone numbers in your profile so if you need to call, our automated system will recognize any of those numbers and quickly place your order.
