Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MbTiles Map - Hiking & Biking on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

This dev is a pro at work. Enjoy. This dev has a major GIS business and has taken some of the more basic functions and put them into a slick little app. Making the tile map layer for offline use seems non-essential, and it's a fantastic little tracker in any case.

4 star. Please add icon for waypoint and the categories. Take and show picture still get an error.

Record your cycling or hiking trails, export and share - access the map anywhere in offline mode.
This application is particularly useful for people looking for a background mapping when being in remote areas without cell reception. To create mbtiles you can use number of available methods - please search the web e.g. http://mapit-gis.com/generating-mbtiles-from-an-image

Just drop your mbtiles files to MbTilesMap->Resources->Maps folder on your device and they will be automatically loaded as the overlays to Google Maps.
