I find OpenTable to be helpful and useful. I lowered my rating to 3, because I have been trying to change my email address for two months. The program refuses the phone code confirmation I receive and enter, every time. I am doing this on my laptop, and following all the directions. When I enter the code, it says contact support. But there is no support. It's all virtual, and the chat dialog never responds. I've been on "Waiting to Chat" for 10 minutes. About to cancel.

Had used Open Table successfully several times, but the last 2 times I used the app, my reservation wasn't on record at the restaurant when I arrived with guests, although I had received confirmation from Open Table that the reservation had been made. Thankfully, I dine at this establishment often, so they know me and I've been able to be seated with minimal delays.

The app doesn't work. I reset my password four times this evening and Everytime I used the new password it said it was wrong. I tried to call their customer service. It asks you if you are a restaurant or diner. If you select restaurant, they tell you to go online and disconnect the call. So I called back and selected the restaurant line and when the guy too my call and I explained I am not a restaurant, he gave me a rather inappropriate response and disconnected the call. Make your app work!

This is a nice way to discover restaurants and make reservations. Unfortunately, the app has some issues. The service has a feature that allows you to save restaurants of interest, but the "saved" list does not sync between the app and the online portal. Additionally, reviews on the app will not allow me to upload pictures. If the features of the app actually functioned (e.g. saving and reviewing), this app would get 5 stars from me. But these features are broken, and have been so for more than a year.

Looked very helpful. Never had time to use it because I was unindated with electronic issues I could not solve on my own and no one seemed to know how, or want to help me, nor would they come to the house to show me. They occasionally suggested verbal directions, but I was limited due to lack of knowledge, not being a verbal learner, and ineffective brain function due to memory loss that I was self rehabilitating

Great for finding nice places to dine for date night or other special occasions. Also great for finding good places while traveling. And the map feature helps locate dining in specific neighborhoods or near event venues or hotels whether out of town or out on the town.
