They charge/lockout the local ski hill information. However, why pay a hefty fee for something I'll only use for maybe 3 months out of the year, and the weather predictions aren't even that accurate. I can use the NOAA and receive almost the same amount of useful information for free. I like the classless response open snow leaves under negative reviews, lol.

Open snown is the greatest. I'm a long time subscriber and it is a NO BRAINER! They had me hooked with the winter portion of the app (bar none the best way to know when, where and how much it will snow) but the summer functionality is phenomenal! Weather, smoke, air quality, etc... it is the greatest app for someone who wants to know what is going on outside. This app is clearly made by people who get outside and ski/hike/bike. I really cant say enough how worth it this app is. GET IT!

This app doesn't worked. They forced us to switch from open summit to an app that is constantly frozen and buggy. I want my money back. The way they took our money and then forced us to switch to an app that doesn't work makes the whole thing feel like a scam. Customer service doesn't respond to emails either. Don't waste your money.

I frickin love this app. Although visually it can sometimes be a little less than perfecttly aesthetic when navigating..the information provided is top notch! The graph like view of hourly forecasts is very helpful for planning adventures..from mountain biking and skiing, to hiking or just city weather! Some of my favorite features are hourly cloud coverage forecasts and the amazing 48hr forecasted weather! Very well done! Great customer service and responses from developers!

I used to enjoy this app. Noone I know is continuing with it. Very disappointed in the new model. When first announced, I considered paying, as I don't mind paying a reasonable amount for useful apps. But $30 for an annual subscription. I was shocked. Maybe for lifetime. Even more discouraging is to see all the copy/paste responses that insist this is a small fee for a phone app! They clearly don't live in the same economic reality as us. Thanks to those who recommended OnTheSnow. Switched.

If you're passionate about skiing or riding you need this app. Has everything one could desire and fathom all within easy viewing. Use throughout the season to determine what mountains to hit up and when. Who's had the most recent snow, who's expecting the most. The value and ease of this app and the data it provides is worth its weight in gold! I've got the subscription and couldn't be happier
