Oody (formerly OodyMate) is a global community for travel and food lovers. With Oody, you can set your mind at ease upon arrival at any destinations.

While traveling, how do you plan your trip without spending hours sifting through heaps of information online? How do you find a good place to eat without getting caught in a tourist trap? The modern traveler encounters these problems far too often, and we’ve decided to do something about it.

1. OodyKiosk presents you with a curated selection of travel information to handle everything you may need during your trip.

2. OodyMeet connects you with locals and travelers and facilitates small social exchanges revolving around food.

Your handy resource to find out about new cities

OodyKiosk is a 21st century Yellow Pages specially designed for all travelers. We provide a list of local information to make your travel planning easier. OodyKiosk Banners can be browsed by city and by category, allowing you to narrow down your selection and plan your trip in advance. You will be able to have peace of mind about your trip, knowing everything before you arrive.

*OodyKiosk is currently available in Bangkok, Tokyo, and some other cities in Thailand and Japan. We’ve prioritized some of the top travel destinations in Asia, to allow travelers to get past language and culture barriers with ease. We will add more cities and tourism categories over time, and as the Oody community continues to grow.

Meet other foodies, no matter where you are

Locals, including expats, know the best about their neighborhood. So why not let them take the lead? OodyMeet empowers you to eat like a local, with locals. Based on your preferences, OodyMeet eliminates the excessive time and effort spent trying to find authentic local eats and lets you get right to the point—the social food experience. Female with safety concerns can request to meet with other women only, thereby blocking responses from male users. For someone with special dietary requirements such as vegans, there is the option to connect with other vegans as well.

Find people with common interests in your age group

With each OodyMeet request, senders can choose up to two topics that they want to talk about at that particular moment and other users can decide to accept that request or not based on their topics of interest.

Catch up with friends

Your friends list is completely private to you. When you create a request, it will show up in their 'Requests sent by friends' lists. One of your old friends might happen to be in the same city at the same time with you. It would be a good chance to catch up during a hangout.
