The app is friendly to foreigners as it is in English and consists of few buttons. The registration qas short and quick. However, the communication between the app and the bicycle is poor. Even after manually locking the bicycle the app can take more than 5 minutes to register the lock. It has already cost me an extra 110 JPY because the lock status was not registered within 30 minutes. Please look into such shortcomings.

Does not work anymore! Can't get to the top-up page. My previous balance is all gone! The app keeps on displaying the very long error message "token... expired... bla bla bla" and "Please check network connection". I'm already connected to the internet and all other apps was working fine. Please fix it soon!

Not very foreigners friendly :( need a long registration with a lot of questions mix of English and Japanese. Not really clear how does the fees work!? Nice project, hope they will improve drastically as it could be popular with tourists (like in many cities in the word) but please check how it works in others cities, need to be more friendly and easy to use.

ATTENTION! This app requires a telephone number to register, but you can do while in your home country. Aside from that, topping up is entirely in Japanese, so I hope you've been studying your Duolingo. Finally, if the developers are looking for an English copy editor, hit me up, because you desperately need it.

I tried every method to log in and whenever I moved to the verification stage (which there are three different options) it always gave me weird error messages. I'm in Kyoto wanting to cycle around, but even if I did manage to log on I dont think I could trust this company with any of my personal data

you need a working phone number for the registration. we only had a data sim. so could not register.
