Give it 5 stars for it to be back and functional. IDK exactly why it works now heard it's only with android (always only used android) but it's good to have the app for the hardware. Although i did have to buy Solex app back when 3dr app was abounded, but nevertheless I like that it works again. People don't drop the rating pls, at 1 or 2 stars it might be taken off the market and it's still kicking appearantly.

As many people have discovered, 3DR Solo is not currently manufactured; therefore the app is out of date and you need to run an OLDER PHONE OR TABLET. I installed the app today on my Galaxy S8. It works fine just like it did when I purchased the drone 3+ years ago. I love this drone and hate that 3DR dropped the consumer market for the commercial end. :(

Dont get this app or their drones. All the phones during and after 2019 dont work with this app. At least for samsung. I have a Samsung s9 and every time I turn on my drone and connect to the drones wifi to be able to see what my gopro sees, the app crashes. It doesnt work. I'm a photographer and I was very happy to get a gopro and get drone shots using the 3DR solo app with my Samsung s9. After I drove an hour from home I tried connecting to my drone and the app kept crashing.

It takes a bit to connect but once you do it works fine. Just keep your screen on or it will disconnect from the camera. Ya it only works on older phones but you can buy a dirty old greasy phone from the web and just use it for your drone. That's what I did. Cheers maties!!

Ateast 3dr solo team should work on drone app. I recently puchased samsung tablet. Every time app crash on Samsung tab. This app does not support at all Samsung new devices.

Keeps crashing. Says its not supported and to get the app that is supported you have to pay $30.
