Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Locrypt: Encrypted tracker on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Locrypt is a free encrypted location tracking app.

Your location is encrypted with AES-256 encryption by your device with a private randomly generated key known only by you and the people you choose to share it with.

Locrypt offers the following features:

• Know the real time location of your trusted friends.

• Know their current activity (in vehicle, stationary, on bicycle, etc.).

• Send location update commands to your trusted friend's devices.

• Know your friends' battery level. (Premium feature)

• Friends' location history. (Premium feature)

• Create an encrypted backup of your friends and keys. (Premium feature)

Whoever you choose to show your key to (via a QR code scan) will be able to know your location in real time. No one else will be able to access your location or your identity, not even us.
