Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AmbiTemp on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Too bugy this version. Some graphic glitches appear. Sound temp. warning doesn't function at all, refresh intervals very often asleep. So small and simple app and yet it seems so complicated to make work properly. No widget. Dissapointed.

Perfect for my commute sometime my fenix 5x takes a while to sync with my tempe not this app so perfect for a quick temp check when outside. Now if they made a widget...

Started with the free app enjoyed it so much I wanted to support the vender.

v1.7.1 back up and working again mostly, but seems to stop updating randomly (a couple or manual refreshes to get it going again). The graph scale has definitely improved though.

Has the makings of an useful app, but must agree with the previous reviewer too many bugs at the moment. It does read from the Tempe sensor and does display the temperature accurately. However, does not read in the background at predetermined intervals and does not display the temperature in the status bar. Maybe with a bit of work it could be a very useful app, but at the moment it does not provide any more than the free version.

AmbiTemp is an elegant app to measure and record the ambient temperature by using the wireless ANT+ sensor like Garmin Tempe™. It will give you insight into temperature trends during any outdoor activity like hiking, running, mountaineering, skiing, or even just spending time at the beach.
