EDIT: Lowering my review from 5 stars to 1 star because, even though it let me add my new car on, it always shows as disconnected. My Pandora never works. I can play it through Bluetooth, but not the app, which means I cannot use it as it is supposed to be used. It just constantly gives me a message to make sure the app is set up correctly. I don't understand why it doesn't just connect automatically.

Finally solved the problem,😤 👩🏾🔬🔬🧫📚🤪 I had the darndest time getting this app to do anything "useful"; initially it seemed as if the only thing I'd ever be able to do was make and receive handfree calls. I'd (kinda) given up on this app from trying to understand why it ALWAYS said "disconnected"; the phone portion worked but couldn't do ANYTHING else!🤦🏾♀️ The other day, I randomly turned on the Hotspot feature on my phone and JOILA!😃 I was listening to YouTube🤷🏾♀️📱➡️🚘🥰🙌🏾

Connection to phone can be a hassle. Navigating apps like Pandora are hot or miss. Since recent update, seems to be getting worse rather than better.

Absolute garbage. After installing the app, it simply won't work despite being connected via Bluetooth. Went thru agony of creating new account and this thing does nothing. Does anyone test this stuff before unleashing on world? Utter garbage.

Over complicated to use, and only works on rare occasions. Could have been developed into an amazing product, but it feels rushed and incomplete.

For the last week my Connect apps have not worked. Contacted Nissan to see what the the problem might. Nissan Ireland have informed me that, as of the last week, the Nissan Connect App is now discontinued. Without notice to the customer, the service has been turned off. No point in having an apps button on my 1 year X-Trail now. Really bad treatment from Nissan. Starting to loose interest in the brand these days. I'm unable to post no stars. Ironic or what !
