Love the concept but the app has a lot of problems. The video won't connect when Internet is fine for all of our other smart devices, like right now. The audio cuts out randomly so I can't hear my little one until he's screaming. The audio has to be turned on/off multiple times before the audio actually works. The night light doesn't always turn on, even after an app restart; same with the noise generator. Lots of false alarms in the middle of the night, so the algorithm needs improvement.

The last year and a half with the nanit has been horrible. The customer service hasn't been any help. The camera frequently disconnects and most lately refuses to connect to 5ghz. I've been through multiple routers and chased this thing down with a volt meter and it just doesnt consistently work. It's a good thing my daughter hasn't been in a situation that required our help while the camera has been out... I'm giving up and moving on, to new moms and dads, the gimmicks arent worth it.

Occasionally there is a glitch in the video and I need to force stop the app. However the Nanit team does regular updates to keep up with bugs and is sure to let me know when the update will be happening (typically in the middle of the night) and assures me that it will not interfere the with monitoring. Overall happy with the Nanit app and products.

Love the idea behind the Nanit, and the app. Needs a fair amount of work. For the price of the system I have actually been disappointed at how many small issues we've had. Frequently says 'local view only' meaning non of the insights we pay for are tracking. Consistent pausing/loading of video and audio, to which I have sent tech support requests about (only to be told it's my internet; even though we have a fairly high MBpS plan AND an extender, and we only live in a small townhouse) please fix

I absolutely love this camera and all of it's features, HOWEVER, I keep having this major problem with it that I think most parents wouldn't appreciate. I find that whenever I leave the nanit app open throughout the night, it'll randomly begin to glitch and freeze on an image. UPDATE (A few months later) it glitches way too much and now I'm regretting spending more than $1 on this.

Honestly, this $400 monitor is not worth all the stress we have only 1.5 years in. We have called Nanit I would say a dozen times about the same problem. Connection. There is absolutely nothing wrong with our internet yet it looses connection constantly. The $20 one from Walmart is 100 times better then the Nanit. Please dont waste your money. Very disappointing.
