This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing London Bus Pal on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Best bus app so far and I have gone through a few in recent years

The interface is clean, streamlined and not loaded down with unnecessary graphics. And one the few apps that doesn't try to automatically locate all the nearest bus stops to me when I open it, which I find infuriating... I don't need spoonfeeding!! This opens to my list of saved bus stops and then lets me search by either bus stop or bus route, a lot of apps. And great communication from the developer. Thanks, best wishes.

You should think about creating accounts to save favourite bus stops, everytime I install this app I need to add my favourites manually.

About this app

A London bus prediction application which can give you prediction information for nearby bus stops, as well as any route, bus stop or location in London.

Features:
• Bus stops near my current location: shows all stops near me now and predicted arrivals for the next 30 minutes.
• Bus stop view: shows all buses predicted to call at the specific stop in the next 30 minutes.
• Bus route view: shows all stops on a route where a bus will call within the next 30 minutes and show when the next bus for that route is due at each stop on the route. New: switch to the map view will show you a map with markers indicating when the next bus will arrive at each bus stop.
• Specific bus view: shows all predicted calling points for a specific bus in the next 30 minutes.
• Search functionality: you can search using bus route number, bus stop number, bus registration number and by post code or GPS co-ordinates for all stops near a specific location in London.
• Map views: for any of the above views, you can switch to a map view of the information. Centre the map anywhere on London and press the refresh button to see bus stops in the area.

All prediction data is supplied by Transport for London.
