OMG.....tried for 5 hrs to connect my Pro1 T701i with customer service, unsuccessful. Brought a new one, unsuccessful. Started thinking about what could be wrong, gave up. Address for registration is important. Location is a camp. Put location address, not home. Also, if you have cameras, disconnect from wifi. Then it goes kinda smooth. Did it on my android. Hope this helps. 5hrs with customer service didn't help. Would not warranty my thermostat because i was installing myself. They suck.

I'm a HVAC technician and always uses the PRO-1 Thermostats because of the quick change of the back plates. I had a difficult time setting up the Wifi connection to my Android. but I figured out to go directly to the website because the app couldn't sync. so far so good. I'll update if this goes horrible

absolutely terrible. the app constantly freezes and won't recognize my wifi. tech support is no help and is only available 8-5 M - F, which is awesomely conveniant if you have a job.

The app will not sync with thermostat. it says loading data at step five but will not continue past All the reviews have ranked the app very low and I can see why. Wifi capabilities was I got thermostat in first place.

Galaxy Note 9 on T-Mobile with Pie. After trying multiple times, the application never got beyond 5/12 on the initial set up screen. I used my wife's Galaxy S9 and the application worked on her device with minimal hassle but my Note 9 is MY device and can log in but only after it was configured elsewhere. Lame. I will call my HVAC vendor to complain this Monday, they need to know of the poor quality of this application.

Can't set up the wireless option on my Samsung Galaxy S7. Keeps disconnecting my wifi in an endless loop when on step 3. Frustrating. They just had an update. It obviously didn't fix everything.
