~~~~~~~UPDATE FEB 24 2020~~~~~~~~ The camera and pictures are now not displaying properly and look almost like the picture is scrambled and it takes a minute or so before I can get it to display without having the scrambled look. I'm looking now for a replacement because this is just not worth the effort to spend on hopefully being able to look at or send pictures. I've got an $800 phone that can't take even a decent picture anymore!
A couple days ago, while looking for 2 videos, I noticed that they'd moved from their regular places. I then checked to see if the Date stamp changed too and it did not. Second issue: as I reviewed the details on the videos and then a group of photos, I noticed that the Time stamp was wrong on every single one of them. I reviewed the Date & Time setting on the phone itself and it is set correctly yet photos I know were taken in the morning are timestamped hours later. Nothing online to fix it.
I'm using Moto G5 plus and for the past two months, a dialogue box comes up saying camera error. It comes and goes. I've followed all the steps I saw on Google and it's still not responding. I've restarted my phone over and over and no changes. I'm honestly disappointed. What's the point of having this and it's not working?..
Never had issues until yesterday. Then today was my daughter's wedding and I missed a lot of important moments during the service because the camera kept crashing or lagged and wouldn't take a photo at all. I'm pi$$ed. No update for this in a year, yet the rear of the device has updated. You can't update everything else and not the camera. It's going to be buggy. Time to find a new camera app.
Most of the time it's hanging & crashing automatically. Not opening properly. Lot's of time I have to do close open close open app, most of the time it's showing error & not start your camera. Please reopen it again. Disgusting. When I bought my phone Moto G5 plus in 2017, that time it was good working but after 1 year it's giving lots of trouble. Fix it ASAP
