About this app

The MotorCo Virtual Guide to Tokyo is a relative location and virtual reality guide to the city. It shows the user their location relative to hundreds of iconic sites, restaurants, shopping and sushi. The attractions are sorted from nearest to furthest so the user knows exactly what is around them.

Each location has a detailed description, live wired with a Google Map and a virtual reality simulation about the attraction in general. See below for more details - you can simulate with your device what it would be like to be at the location in person.

This is the free version, which has no ads, but no registration or sharing of user information or location.

We profiled 100's of activities, restaurants, hotels, shops, museums and other fun things to do, and they are all sorted by proximity to the user, and each is wired with a virtual guide.

Let us know what you think. Have fun in Tokyo.

About Tokyo:

Tokyo, officially Tokyo Metropolis,[6] is the capital of Japan and one of its 47 prefectures. The Greater Tokyo Area is the most populous metropolitan area in the world. It is the seat of the Emperor of Japan and the Japanese government. Tokyo is often referred to as a city, but is officially known and governed as a "metropolitan prefecture", which differs from and combines elements of a city and a prefecture, a characteristic unique to Tokyo. Tokyo ranked first in the Global Economic Power Index and fourth in the Global Cities Index. The city is considered an alpha+ world city – as listed by the GaWC's 2008 inventory – and in 2014, Tokyo was ranked first in the "Best overall experience" category of TripAdvisor's World City Survey (the city also ranked first in the following categories: "helpfulness of locals", "nightlife", "shopping", "local public transportation" and "cleanliness of streets")
