Good premise, but the app crashes a fair bit. When it does, recording data is lost. It's ridiculous and frustrating that there's apparently no checkpointing.

I'm in my 4th yr using CARV. Prior to using CARV, my ski ability had plateaued at what I perceived as a high level. Fast forward, having a coach with me (CARV) on every run, my learned understating of proper ski technique has advanced my skiing ginormously. If you have the desire to improve, CARV is the ticket. The plateau is gone. My Ski IQ was 113, and now it's 149 and climbing. This might not mean anything to you, but my skiing has improved beyond belief, REALLY.

Overall excellent. Incredible features and works reliably with frequent updates that adds features. Highly recommended.

Cons: Doesn't allow export or deletion of data. Your data isn't your own. Crashes occasionally and doesn't save the data. Pros: automatically matches runs to piste maps Lessons are good but not helpful if conditions are unsuitable for that insight. Easy set up. Sorry, thanks for the reply. I saw some real improvements in the app recently. Also, my review was done at a time when I was skiing with a slipped disc (not known at the time)

This release includes enhancements to the Ski tab, bringing your audio tips into the view, allowing you to read and access them more efficiently. The coaching tab has also been updated to include an info screen about how recent performance is calculated.
