Using BlueStacks

The idea is awesome but I do notice some problems like the gifs stop working after it plays 2-4 times. The gifs only begin to work/play again when I add another gif to my homescreen or if I remove the gif and re-add it to the screen... I hope this problem can get fixed as the concept is pretty cool!!!

Its easy to customize and load up the gifs, however, the gifs lag a lot and when I restarted my phone it doesn't show the gif anymore. Instead, it just showd the logo of the app.

Well, I did use the lite version for about 2 years now. It had no issue running that one gif that I always loved. So, because there was more, I decided to buy the full version to have 6 more other gifs on my home screen. Although, it's really hitting up my RAM, it is amazing! There isn't any other gif widget better than this and I'm glad I purchased the full version when I could!

UPDATE: the battery saver function on my Samsung s10 is what was causing problems with the app. set app to run in the background and works perfectly! Version: worked great at first but seems there is a limit. i only wanted 8 gifs max, creating a small gif collage. gifs stop or twitch after adding 4 or so gifs. even at medium quality. and the gifs are not long. system also has many resources.

My OCD loves this app even more than I do, this is the place to go if everything HAS to match. I change my home screen about 3-4 times a week. No matter the colors or the theme, there are no less than 20 GifWidgets to match. THANKS GIFWIDGET PRO!!!

Horrible performance. Not worth the buy. Widget always stops working and play back freezes. Even one widget on low resolution on home screen has the same effect. Uninstaller, tied of trying to get it to work properly.

GifWidget lets you use Giphy to find gifs, and you can also use any other gif with GifWidget: just save a gif you want to use to your device and you’re all set.

We’ve optimized the app to use as little resources as possible, but you should always use the lowest suitable quality as the animation requires much more memory when a higher quality is used.
Quality guide:
– Low: best for 1x1 widgets
– Medium: best for 2x2 widgets
– High: best for 4x4 widgets
– Source: original quality, no matter how huge. Not recommended!

Please note that long animations require a lot of memory! If the animation keeps stopping or it fails to load at all, it might be too big for your device to handle. You can restart a stopped animation by tapping on the widget.

Worried about the battery life? The animation will be suspended while the screen is off, so the impact on the battery is much less than you might think.
