This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Weather Slider on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

Doesn't work. Tried entering a location by GPS, town name, and zip code, and it couldn't find any of them.

Good app. Allows you to add more than 3 locations, but you can view weather conditions at upto three locations by enabling those locations. Gives sufficiently detailed weather report. Rainfall / snowfall indicator needs to be added.

Weather slider, provides constant up to date weather details for multiple locations including tracking the weather for your current location using GPS.

Weather slider is light weight, very low battery usage, low bandwidth and low memory footprint on the phone. Weather slider is ideal for people who don't have spare screen space or who don't want resource and battery intensive weather widgets running all the time.
