Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing LOC8 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

LOC8 provides users with real-time location and status sharing on a map. Simply create an account with a profile picture and those in your friend's list will see your picture on a map. If you don't want to be seen, simply toggle the visibility button and you are instantly hidden.

LOC8 provides a menu which displays all visible-online friends and by tapping on an online friend, you will transported right to their location on the map.

Next time doubt or complication arises, tell your friend or family member to launch the app and you'll be able to free yourself from deception, you'll be able to save a lost soul, or you'll be able to join a friend for a nice cup of coffee.
