Required Permissions for Android 14 and Above

- Foreground data sync: This permission is necessary for the bus times home screen widget to fetch and display the most up-to-date bus arrival information.
- Foreground media playback: This permission is essential for the "Track & Remind" feature to play audible alerts when your selected bus is about to arrive, even when the app is not in the foreground.
- Background location: This permission is optional and used to monitor your trips to provide proactive disruption information and suggest alternative routes for faster travel. You can enable or disable this feature in the Rewards and Smart Alert feature in app.
We value your privacy and assure you that these permissions will only be used for the stated purposes and will not be used to track your location in the background without your explicit consent. You have the option to turn off background location via your Android settings.
